Sources told KNO that soon after forces launched search operation in the area youth took to streets and started pelting stones on government forces which was retaliated by tear smoke and sound shells Earlier on specific inputs about the presence of militants joint team of forces including 44 RR, Sog Rajpora and CRPF launched search operation in the area.
